Subject: AMC Esta Terblanche (Gillian) News

Hey Guys, Unable to sleep much these days, but wanted you to know that I have just heard personally from Esta Terblanche (Gillian-All My Children) and it wasn't good news. Her mother has passed away. We had such high hopes when Esta was a guest on my show, but she didn't make it. Her mother is gone and I know this pain like no other. I feel a lump in my throat as I write this because the pain of losing your mother is something that never goes away. My heart goes out to Esta in so many ways on so many levels. I thought that fans of Esta's would want to know. I know that so many of you loved her as Gillian on All My Children, and would want an update. She was also very touched to hear that there is a petition circulating from fans who want to see her and Ryan together again on the reboot of All My Children. Knowing what I know about petitions (sadly they are usually ignored by the networks), I thought I would post Prospect Park's mailing address so that the fans could write in and ask to see Esta Terblanche back on All My Children as Gillian (traditionally speaking, the networks have always paid more attention to snail mail than anything else). I adored her as Gillian and think it would be wonderful for her to keep busy doing something she loves and something we loved watching her do as well. If you would like to see Esta back as Gillian, please write and let them know!

This Thursday is both chemo's (Abraxane and Avastin). Hopefully my white blood count is a little higher and we can resume treatment as planned. I will keep you posted. I also wanted to say thank you for all the beautiful notes and pictures. I don't have the energy level I used to have, so I try to leave the responses and thank you's as always, but I don't get very far like I used to. They mean the world to me nonetheless.
