Subject: Major Backstage Update!

Hey Guys,

A quick drive by for now. I am beginning to think I'm cursed. I may be coming down with something on top of all of this, so I am not a happy camper here today (I still have the tubes in me, which only serves to complicate matters). Really bad timing. I wanted to let you know that I have just heard from someone I have known for a very long time that Garin is being replaced at GH. The unrest backstage has just gone into overdrive. The fall out has not been good. I don't have anything further at this time. Expect denials.

On a personal note, once again, thank you so much for all the incredibly sweet notes of love and encouragement that you have left me. They are like rays of sunshine. XOXO!

Gossip Column Disclaimer That Will Appear In Each Column!

This disclaimer will appear each week. Please keep in mind that these are rumors, and any gossip or rumors found within, are completely unsubstantiated. I know this goes without saying for most of you, but there are many new readers out there as well. So far, my sources have been pretty darn good over the years, and I am truly grateful. It would be pointless to have a gossip column without gossip, so you will find both fact and unsubstantiated rumors within these walls. Also, please note that actors are contractually bound by gag orders. They are not allowed to reveal whether they are leaving or not, until the network gives them the green light to do so. Insisting that actors speak to rumors that involve their relationship with their respective shows, places them in a very awkward position. Please keep all of this in mind as you read my column (which will come out every other week). In addition, I can be wrong, and freely admit this. When my sources give me what they have, it's what they are hearing backstage at that moment in time. They are the first to admit that stories can be scrapped or rewritten, with casting decisions changing frequently. I respect their limitations, and so should you. Most of what I hear are very early rumblings, but I will keep nothing from you either way.

You are such a sweetheart to do this while you are battling cancer. I know how hard things must be for you. What a nice treat you gave us. I have nothing against GW, but I do think this was too much for him. He might have been better suited as a regular writer than a headwriter. Thank you for the scoop! Please keep us updated on how you are feeling. I'm still praying for you every day. Our church group says a prayer every Sunday for you. You can beat this Raven! Don't give up the fight! XO!

Still keeping up the prayers for you darlin'! Thank you for the update on Mr. Wolf. I get the feeling he had a lot of stuff stacked against him. I'd also guess that some was not of his own choosing or making. Take care of yourself and know that you are special and you are loved...hugs...

have caught something, but you'll battle through that as well. Thanks for the update on GH. I kind of thought Garin was not right for the job. I hope your recovery gets easier soon. Get lots of rest if you can.

Thanks Raven, thinking of you and sending good vibes. I am having surgery myself next week to have my hip replaced. Nothing compared to what you have been through. Sending healing wishes your way!

Was the Cole recast with Van Hughes one of the "major recasts" that you were referring to a few columns ago regarding OLTL? Hope you eventually kick cancer's butt!!!!

You were first to tell us that Cole was coming back and possible being recast! You seem to be right about Judith Light's return as well! You will aways be the best in more ways than one. Hang in there Raven. I know it's tough. You have so many fans pulling for you. We love you!

Raven was the only one who told us (and maintained to us) that AMC & OLTL were being canceled by ABC. Michael Logan later confirmed it, but everyone else jumped on the "new headwriters have saved AMC bandwagon" except for Raven. She stuck to her guns.

Raven was the first to warn us that GH was being canceled back in early April. She told us in April that it was a done deal, and now people are acting so surprised. There's a lot she doesn't get credit for (unless of course it doesn't happen).

Old old old. Makes me mad.
