I agree with those who wonder how Tad, Krystal and Babe have passed judgement on Adam. Krystal and Babe did everything to keep Amanda from Bianca and Tad helped Liza take Colby. Compare that to Adam keeping a secret. Just like Adam was distraught and stole Jenny...were we expected to forget that Tad tortured and killed Greg in trying to find Kathy? As for Greenlee, it's almost as if they are trying to recreate a young Erica, but Greenlee falls far short with her whining and self victimizing. AMC has gone down the tubes and it's unfortunate. The AMC of old had class and drama...now it's just like a hodgepodge mostly of characters with little depth.

A few weeks ago, when Adam went to see Erica in jail, she admonished him for keeping Kathy away from Tad. It drives me up the wall! You would think being back in jail, Erica would remember that SHE kept Maddie Grey away from Maria for a long, long time, too! I also thought she was hypocritical when she called for Babe's blood for keeping Miranda away from Bianca. Talk about the pot calling the kettle Erica!

She still was hypocritical to judge Adam. The others, though, are far worse. They were all wrong, but Krystal and Babe kept Miranda (don't know why I said Amanda before) from her family, which is no different from what Adam did with Jenny. And I realize that Tad is loved as a "good guy," but he literally got away with murder when he lost his mind over trying to find Kate, but the show expects us to forget that and watch as Adam gets his teeth handed back to him for being just as distraught as Tad was over having lost "Charlotte."
The AMC of old was great, what it is now is nowhere close to that. If they hadn't resurrected Jesse (who I had a wild crush on as a young teenager), I'd have stopped watching months ago. As it is, I fast forward through ANYTHING Greenlee (which I didn't do before they changed the character when RB returned, whose portrayal I don't care for. I started watching again a couple of years ago just before she left and thought SS did a good job of delivering a character that moved forward, now she's moving backward) and am disappointed at how they've marginalized Josh, who has a great backstory that they have abandoned.

And I think she spent more time in jail than Erica did, if I'm not mistaken. Also, although what Babe and Krystal did was wrong, they at least THOUGHT they were doing what was best for Bianca and Miranda at first (remember Babe was about to tell Bianca the truth when Erica told Babe that Miranda's death may have been a blessing in disguise, because she would always be seen as the product of rape and would always be linked to Michael Cambias. Babe was young and misguided, but she thought she could give her a life without those shadows hanging over her head.
Erica, on the other hand, kept Maddie (Sonia) away from Maria out of spite, because she thought she was Dimitri's daughter. Her intentions were in no way beneficial to anyone but Erica.
I love Erica, but I think it's wrong that tptb have conveniently forgotten that Erica kidnapped Maddie at all (just as they gloss over Tad the murderer, as OldTimer pointed out).
I think it would be an interesting twist if Adam got away with something every once in a while. It would be much more interesting if Adam were being hailed as a hero now, for "finding" Kate and saving Tad's life (from a thankless afterlife saddled with Dixie). It would be hysterical watching Tad having to swallow his words and actually be grateful to Adam! And after Adam bonded with Kathy the way he did, she'd be calling him "uncle Adam"! Riot! Come on, that would be fun to watch!!! ;-)

Erica was shunned (rightly), and Krystal was held up as a paragon of motherhood. And Erica's Sonya error was mentioned plenty, and she was the one who found out that Edmund was the dad and put the two of them back on the road to each other. What she did was never sold as anything but really, really bad.
I wish TPTB had handled Krystal and Babe and Tad the same way. It helps the audience move on.
