While a part of me is sad to see this day, there's a bigger part of me (hmmm, I didn't MEAN for that to sound dirty...;-) who has been your FRIEND longer than he has been a disciple. That side of me is extremely happy that you've mustered up the courage to make it final.

I could tell this hasn't been fun for you for a long, long time. You've been doing it for us, but it continued to be a chore. No one should be doing something like this if it continues to be a thankless job. It's supposed to be fun!!! If it stops being fun and becomes a chore, it's turns into a dysfunctional relationship.

As I've said to you privately, I long for the days when soaps become fun for you again...when you might even possibly start posting as a plain ol' fan again. While I always loved your scoops, I've always missed Ravenbeauty, my board buddy.

Finally, a thank you. For all the scoops, for all the peeks into the future (what is now a sad, but inevitable future), for the good humor and for cushioning the blow as the industry continues to decline, and for the classy way in which you carried on despite those who gave you grief, I say thanks, Ravenbeauty. Simply, thanks.

I'm looking forward to seeing your "name" again. [ Who knows, maybe Pratt will bring Michael Nader back, and you'll read my post on the matter...and ("Send"), there you'll be! ;-D ] Whatever the circumstance, I hope to hear from you that you are happy and healthy and on to another great outlet for your obvious talents. You can't keep a great Beauty down, certainly not a Raven one. :-)

Love always,
TV Gord

Raven,

Once again the 'trolls of the internet' win by chasing away YET ANOTHER good-hearted, well-meaning soap opera loving person with credible sources. Your passion and dish will be sorely missed by all of us whom have appreciated you talking WITH US, never AT US...or demanding we 'conform' to your way of thought since you have never come across as such a person.

I am well aware of the entities you mention. This is, unfortunately, the way of our Country and the World right now. Mean-spiritedness and outright evil 'trolls' are in control. If anybody (here or elsewhere) think for one minute that these 'trolls' have the 'best interest' of the soap medium at heart? Think again. They have system- atically, by working together and creating more web sites, ruined 'the fun' of watching the soaps for true fans. They 'report' news and spoilers with venom, spite and bias.

It's a shame that the networks, producers, writers and actors are running across such sites and reading them. They provide a very delusional slant to this medium that nobody in power should deem reliable or sound.

You will be incredibly missed, Raven. Take my best wishes and prayers with you.
