Oh Raven my dear long time friend. I caught a hint of this just today and I must say I'm really sad. You were one of the people oh so long ago back on the amcpages.com (now SOC) that inspired me to come out of lurkdom. I so enjoyed our exciting and FUN discussions about one of our favorite soaps together. I must concur with TV Gord's beautiful post. I had a feeling this day would likely come but I hoped I was wrong. I love your column and I love you my dear. I want what is right and best for you and only you know what that is. I've been considering stepping back myself for a long time and perhaps this is the impetus that will make me do it. It really is nasty out there and the fun times are few and far between.

I would first like to thank you for the scoops and the updates. They were greatly appreciated. The opportunity to see truly fantastic folks on your site that are truly passionate about the Soaps is a treat. I would also like to add that you took part in an industry that is dog eat dog. Although we appreciate your scoops and spoilers, please recognize that what you are a part of is a thankless job. I hope you did not expect the insiders to appreciate the job that you were doing and give you any credit. This is a paycheck to these people. They do not understand that sites like this is what keep us interested in the land of make believe. The task is now to sell us on the concept of Reality Make Believe TV. How can you script Reality? The times have evolved but these drones are challenged with keeping people interested and cannot even accomplish that. They have abnormally large narcissistic egos. The writers along with the producers continue with useless focus that consistently keep the ratings low. I can only imagine the depths of your disappointment with this industry but I can say just one thing. Don't give these sleeze balls the satisfaction. From your letter, this sounds very upclose and personal and angry but forgive me if I say that it sounds like a part of you wishes to move on any way. Ten years doing this column could not have been very easy but we tend to do what we have to. Sometimes it is easier to just stop trying to fit in that little black dress and enjoy the cheese cake and just buy the bigger size. Acceptance of what the situation truly is defines our individuality. My venting these last couple of years allowed me to voice my discontent with ABC's poor direction . Reading your spoilers and scoops kept it interesting. I just hope that your decision to not continue with this column is indeed yours. You will be missed and INDUSTRY FOLKS, YOU DID NOT WIN!!! LOW RATINGS ARE ULTIMATE CANCELLATION WILL BE YOUR DEFINING POINT! PUSHING AROUND A COLUMNIST WHO KEPT IT INTERESTING REINFORCES THE BULLY MENTALITY!!!! GOOD LUCK RAVEN ON YOUR NEW FRONTIER...... MS.
