Subject: Red Hot Spoilers, Rumors, News & More! Updated 3/26/11!

Hey Gang,



Pull up a chair, grab a caramel frappe, and get ready for some industrial strength lather this week. Fans are still reeling from the events of the past week, and the ride is far from over. When I told you that AMC was a dead ship (with OLTL not looking so hot either), it was because it's the absolute truth. There is nothing that any of us have to gain by telling you that our shows are in serious trouble. Shooting the various messengers out there, (myself included) will do nothing to change what's taking place. You can try to cover the sunshine with one finger, but being in a place of complete denial, is not where you want to be when everything hits the fan. If you are an informed fan (a thinking and rational fan) you can see the forest from the trees right now. You realize why so many performers are coming out in droves to implore fans to write to ABC. Some stating that everything is fine, and in the same breath, asking fans to write in as soon as possible! I was told by a very reliable inside source that ABC is in complete panic mode right now (hence the now infamous meeting that took place where ABC addressed the staff and crew of AMC). If everything was fine, a meeting would not have been necessary (damage control from the inside is rather telling). If there was no truth to the rumor, ABC would have laughed it off as they have done in the past, and we would have heard nothing further.

This smoke leads to a roaring fire my friends. I sure picked a great time to return. I am hearing that cast members are already secretly (and some not so secretly) looking around at all their options. I would not be surprised by a full denial by ABC at this point simply because they do not have their ducks in a row just yet. Some of you will believe that denial, others won't for good reason. I wanted to clarify something if I may, because often times, fans will not always fully read what is written, and combine news from several sources, and attribute it to the wrong person (usually me). I never said that you would have an announcement from ABC within a day or two (that was from another news site entirely)! All of my columns are available right here in the archives for you to revisit at any time (although I had a close call with some of them dropping off weeks back due to a temporary bug, which was a bit frustrating). They are available for you to peruse at any time. I would like to ask all of you to slow down, and carefully read what is written, because much of the confusion out there is actually due to people not taking the time to read what is right in front of them. I have people asking me the same questions over and over again at Facebook, and yet if they only took a few moments to scroll down my page, nine times out of ten, the questions have already been answered (or can be found in my notes section).

Now for some bad news, (being the messenger is never easy, you need a thick skin, and a great deal of armor). The shows do not pay much attention to petitions (it certainly can't hurt, so keep up the good work for those of you that have them going). I have heard this about petitions from several sources over the years. They see it as a way for fans to feel united and nothing more. What they do not dismiss is snail mail, telephone calls, and e-mails. Snail mail is the most powerful (as seasoned fans know, they still count the pieces of mail that each performer gets to gauge the popularity of that actor and the character they play). Let us not forget two situations that took place not so long ago. Ellen Wheeler was told that everything was fine at "Guiding Light,” and that the show was going on as usual, and three days later, the show was canceled (leaving cast and crew stunned). Chris Goutman was led to believe that "As The World Turns" had another year, and the show was canceled a week later. Will AMC or OLTL have another full year? What do you think? Do some of you still believe I am Damien's sister and Samara's cousin who must have some evil agenda by merely giving you a heads up (sounds a little crazy and ridiculous in the light of day now doesn't it)? Welcome to my world! ABC should be happy for any buzz they can get right about now for this dying genre. We need to get these letters to ABC as soon as possible. I know that many of you have been reading me for years, but I have quite a few newbies as well. I feel it is important to go over a few things for the newer readers out there (or risk losing what I have left of my sanity). At the risk of repeating myself, I am not perfect (shocker)! I can be wrong. I will be wrong. I have been wrong, and I won't get them all (nobody can-nobody does). That said, I have already given you several casting scoops (my specialty in lieu of garden-variety spoilers) that have already happened since my return to the fold. As an example, in my column dated 2/2/11, I said that a prince would be leaving in search of a new kingdom on GH (I have gotten a lot less vague with my riddles these days for a reason). I finally named Tyler Christopher as out on GH a full week before Soap Opera Digest or anyone else broke the news anywhere (please feel free to refer to my last column, and compare the dates). I shocked fans with news that Rebecca Herbst was out at GH, and she was in fact out. Here is an update on Rebecca being rehired by ABC for those fans out there that believe there is only right and wrong, and never change. That by telling fans that things can change, you are merely covering your ass or copping out (if it sounds crazy, it's because it is crazy).

If anything, the following should demonstrate just how much things can change! The following is a recent interview with Rebecca Herbst regarding the situation from our friends at Soaps In Depth:

In an exclusive interview in the new issue of ABC Soaps In Depth, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) shares the emotional tale of her firing -- and rehiring! "It was surreal," she recalls of that fateful Friday meeting with the show's executives in which she was told the news. "I didn't see it coming."

ABC's statement that Herbst's exit was "storyline-dictated" not only shocked the actress, but her legions of fans as well. A character with familial ties to a legendary GH family, Elizabeth was the odd woman out in three romantic triangles, and is in the middle of a paternity issue between two brothers! "That's why it did take me by surprise," she says with a sigh.

I gave you a heads up on the exit of Brian Kerwin (OLTL), and several others if you would like to check my archives, which all have dates. Here is what I have learned as a gossip columnist over the years. You can get fifty correct, but it's the five that never happened that are all that certain fans become fixated on. It's inevitable. If I were to treat my sources in the same manner in which I have treated by some of you (thankfully not the majority who have been nothing but lovely to me since I returned), I would never hear from them again! They would be disgusted, find me incredibly ungrateful, and never give me another morsel! It's why I do not ask them every week if they have heard anything new about Roger Howarth! If they did hear something about him or anyone else we have discussed out here, they would tell me, and I would tell you! If you do not see something in my column that you wanted news on, it's not that I am suffering from Alzheimer’s! It's that I simply had nothing new to report on that item in question, which is why it was probably not addressed.

Old timers know about the 3-month rule (and it's actually mentioned in two recent columns archived here). Once more with feeling, I get early rumblings on things! Most of my casting scoops usually take at least three months to come to fruition as they typically do. My sources are getting tidbits from behind the scenes (not when it's ready to be confirmed, and put out as news)! Huge difference! Scripts written today, do not typically air for at least three months. That's why I write a gossip column, and not a newspaper! I told you that Roger was in talks with the show, and that long time fans may be finally getting their wish, and that was not even two months ago! I know it seems like a year to some of you, but Geez! I understand that you are excited at the prospect, and for you a few weeks may feel like a year, but a couple of months is nothing in this industry! I adore Roger Howarth, and want to see him just as badly as you do! I can only imagine what Soap Opera Network went through when they declared that he was returning in August of last year. I put this out only two months ago, and every few days I am asked about this! If you don't want an early heads up, and are only interested in the news as it is about to be announced, you should probably not read me, and go find a newspaper instead. Just being painfully honest with you. I love you guys and am blessed with many wonderful readers out there, but sometimes this stuff can make you a little crazy! If you don't believe me, try it sometime!

Now on Trevor St John, here is what I wrote in my column dated 3/7/11:

I've seen negotiations come down to the wire. Let us not forget when I told you that Melissa Archer was out many years back. Daytime agent Michael Bruno confirmed this as well. She was as gone as anyone can be considering the fact that the show had already held two rounds of auditions to recast for the role of Natalie! She was out! They came to terms in the 11th hour in the midst of auditions no less! They may have an ace up their sleeves on this one. In fact, my source told me today that things are not what they appear to be. Don't count Trevor out just yet. The 11th hour has yet to come. Some feathers are ruffled, and with it, a heavy dose of angst is in the air. Let us wait for official confirmation on this. It's going to be a very bumpy ride.

I could repeat what I told you above, but frankly, we are merely awaiting for official word at this point one way or another. I can tell you that I hear that he is still filming, but again we need official confirmation on his contract status, so there is really nothing new to add just yet......

In addition, before I throw some spoilers your way, I've noted fans here and at Facebook that got exactly what I was referring to in my column dated 2/16/11! Here is that excerpt:

Speaking of ABC, look for some massive shake-ups behind the scenes (and I am not referring to the performers). Two big ones. One is obvious. One is not. Both will leave the actors and fans reeling. AMC is still the little engine that could. Things look bleaker and bleaker. A few last minute bandages on its way, but can it stop the bleeding? Only time will tell. The odds are not good. I am sorry AMC fans. I truly am.

Yes, it was Guza. It is still Guza, and the sudden retraction from one of the magazines that obviously got the same news as I received, only solidifies things even more for me. Oh the plot doth thicken. ABC is about to have an earthquake rock it's mighty halls. I'll be taking a vacation when everything hits the fan......................!

For readers of mine who are not on my Facebook page, the following is what I left out on Sunday March 20TH at 4PM in regard to fans e-mailing me about a rumor that involved Maurice Benard:

I wanted to clarify something before people begin asking me about this out here (I'm already getting e-mails). I have not heard anything about Maurice Benard leaving General Hospital. I did tell you in my first column back that Vanessa would be leaving (and she is). I have not been told that Maurice is leaving. Please keep in mind that I am given tidbits only (never a play by play). This does not mean that he won't be leaving. I just don't believe in claiming credit for something that is not mine. If it happens, it will certainly change the face of General Hospital in a big way, but it did not come from me.

Gossip Column Disclaimer That Will Appear In Each Column!

This disclaimer will appear each week. Please keep in mind that these are rumors, and any gossip or rumors found within, are completely unsubstantiated. I know this goes without saying for most of you, but there are many new readers out there as well. So far, my sources have been pretty darn good over the years, and I am truly grateful. It would be pointless to have a gossip column without gossip, so you will find both fact and unsubstantiated rumors within these walls. Also, please note that actors are contractually bound by gag orders. They are not allowed to reveal whether they are leaving or not, until the network gives them the green light to do so. Insisting that actors speak to rumors that involve their relationship with their respective shows, places them in a very awkward position. Please keep all of this in mind as you read my column (which will come out every other week). In addition, I can be wrong, and freely admit this. When my sources give me what they have, it's what they are hearing backstage at that moment in time. They are the first to admit that stories can be scrapped or rewritten, with casting decisions changing frequently. I respect their limitations, and so should you. Most of what I hear are very early rumblings, but I will keep nothing from you either way.

Ravenbeauty's OLTL Dish

Brace yourselves for a nice long game of musical lovers beginning now in theaters everywhere! They are turning up the volume on "Love in the afternoon" for a limited time (broadcaster's voice and all). I feel for a few fan bases out there who are about to implode. They want to shake things up, and leave you guessing. Who will wind up with who when the music stops? Aubrey is being taken in a new direction that may eventually lead nowhere. Massive changes taking place due to all the new cuts. The baby storyline has been changed due to one of those new cuts. Tess does something unimaginable, which lands her in serious trouble. St. Anne's installs a new revolving door to accommodate all the guests.

The feedback on Kelly and John is not going to sit well with some of my friends out there, but I don't make the news, I just report it. They are getting a lot of unexpected positive feedback, and are tweaking things as we speak. From what I have been told, Tess and Ford aren't clicking quite yet. The jury is still out on Cutter and Tess because their game of musical chairs has only just begun. Nora witnessed something shocking alright, but things are not what they appear to be.

One vet may lose a great deal of story here very soon. I told you that Alex would be short term only, and if you blinked, you just missed her (a shame and quite an oversight on the show's part). Tonja Walker is pure gold. The initial story was to out Aubrey, and lead Joey straight into Kelly's open arms. John has certainly added an unexpected twist to things. What to do...what to do. Cutter ends up being Tess's Nash for the time being. That recast of a younger male is coming.

The jury is definitely still out on Ted King. Tomas has his hands firmly planted in Todd's "real" story. ABC has been bombarded with overwhelming feedback on the death of Jake (GH). There's been talk of curbing the original ending to the bullying story we are witnessing now with Shane. Not sure if they will truly soften the blow, but it was discussed. Personally speaking, I think OLTL is going to a place far too dark on this one. Watching a frail looking cancer patient with severe asthma being tormented and bullied is making my stomach turn. It's nauseating, unrealistic, and a bit over the top for this viewer. I will be happy to see this story finally come to an end. Charlie and Echo's affair sends Viki into familiar territory.....

Ravenbeauty's GH Dish

Things are not what they appear to be right now when it comes to Jake's hit and run driver. In the interim, Luke will be tormented by his own demons until the truth finally surfaces. Carly and Jax pick up where they left off, and the gloves come off in a very big way. Wave goodbye to BrookLynn as she exits Port Charles (Lisa will eventually follow as planned).

It's a good thing we have such amazing talent in the form of Steve Burton, Rebecca Herbst, and Jonathan Jackson who left us in tears with their incredible performances in the aftermath of Jake's death. I say this because many fans couldn't help but notice how choppy, uneven, and rushed the story appeared to be. There have been some serious rewrites due to Rebecca Herbst's new status with the show. Many things were cut that would have made Liz appear darker as she walked out that door, but all of this was scrapped, and Jake's story pushed up. A woman from Dante's past enters the canvas shaking things up for Lulu & Dante.

The story with Brenda's baby has been rewritten at least three times now, so I did what any rational person would do, and stocked up on Bonine! The child chosen to play baby Lucian (Elvis Martinez) is absolutely precious! A nasty piece of work returns that may tie into Nikolas's exit from the show. Abby may be taken in a new direction (not good). I'm going to hate watching this vet go on recurring, but it's coming (along with LLC). Maxie is still given very little to do.

Franco dons a strange but familiar mask, and begins asking for someone named Clarice. He's got babies coming out of his ears. Jason isn't playing around this time (not after what he's been through). Sam's illness comes to light. Suzanne pays Theo back in spades. Lisa isn't done playing games. Patrick and Robin aren't off the hook just yet.....

Please, please be Ford getting the axe. I am so sick of that entire Ford clan. Just let Jess' baby be Brody's, and Natalie's baby be John's, and let it roll for now. I can't think of any board I've been on that's not wondering why a forensics specialist didn't get a second DNA test.

well looks like all the abc soaps are in trouble at this time wish it was not true as i have been watcing all abc soaps over 30 years and am very upset over this especially one life to live even my 2 adult daughters watch them what will they put on in place of them all i know it is a terribble thing for abc to do please leave them on

If OLTL gets canceled it is there own fault the story lines are taking way to long to wrap up. The Jessica/Natalie/Brody/John story has gone on almost a year now and I for one am tired of this story.

People are also wanting John and Natalie back together and happy and after reading some of the spoilers it looks like they are going to keep John and Kelly together and if they do that I will quit watching. I'm going to watch for the month of April, but if this story doesn't change where John and Natalie get back together I am finished with OLTL and then I don't care if they get canceled.

I worked for a company for 25 years and when they started having 'meetings' and telling us how nothing was wrong, we knew we were in trouble.....oh yes, company is gone, so were our jobs.....its the same here for sure.....

I agree, the bullying story is turning my stomach too. They get rid of wonderful young actor Carmen Loporto and sorased Jack for this? What a waste. Thanks for the spoilers hon, you're still the best! =D

I've watched this couple since they first met and finally john and nat had a chance and now i stopped watching this show cause this bull crap happens.You said positive feedback and all i've read is how much they hate kelly and john together. I hope things do change or you might as well cancel the show.

I never realized how long I have been following you until you mentioned that the Melissa Archer post was years ago and I know I was ready reading you column for a few years before that. Thanks again for all you do.

And yes the Shane story is very difficult to watch.
GH for me has become like a friend that I don't always agree with, but I still love, just because we have been together so long.

I like John and Kelly together. I am bored with Natalie - totally! We all know that Marty had the paternity test for Liam changed to show Brody as the father instead of John. Serves her right for sleeping with her sisters lover. Brody is a bore as well. He and Natalie belong together. He is the one without a child, send him packing and keep Cutter. Robert Ford has every right to have access to his baby. I think they've all lost their minds over at OLTL. Shane needs to go, bring back Carmen as Jack, and for goodness sakes, what have they done to Marty's character. Give her back to Todd or give them a good storyline together. These two work great together when they are at odds with each other. Contrary to popular belief, Roger Hayworth does not compare to Trevor. I think Trevor is one of the best in Daytime only second to Jason on GH. Roger had issues playing a rapist and love making scenes as I remember because as he stated, "he had 2 very small daughters" that he did not want to give the wrong impression. We danced all around him - not ever touching Tea after he paid her that money to marry him. She was finally written off the show to accommodate him. Give us all a break!

Raven, so glad you are back! I've read you for a long time and was sad when you left for a time, but understood it. There's so much negativity out there and you are above it! Please let Kelly and John continue. I'm so sick of John with Natalie. I mean they are about as old and tired as Todd and Blair. I see the TIIC finally gave up on Todd and Blair. I wish they would do the same for John and Nat. Anyway, too bad about AMC. I fear we will get the news soon about the show going off air. I don't watch the show all the time, but I still love Tad, Jessie, Angie, and yes....even Greenlee.

the bullying SL isn't going well (although it's an important story to tell). The recast of Jack is not so good. Carmen was such a fine actor with so much charisma. This new Jack is bland and unbelievable. I am hoping that "Jelly" is going to be given a chance. I have never liked Jolie.

On OLTL, I'm glad that John/Kelly are getting positive feedback. I agree that Jolie soooo needs to be over. Natalie & Brody definitely have chemistry. Let Liam be Brody's. I do not like this new Jack. He can't act.

On GH, The hit & run is not what it appears to be gives me hope too. I hate that they did this storyline, but I hate it even more that it appears that Luke was the driver. The little boy that portrayed Jake was the cutest little thing. He looked so much like Jason.

i love one life to live but kelly and john have no story together and seem together because of nothing else to do. they could make his and natalie's story more about finding their way back as a family and in love again.not other people plus them in their relationship.

Kelly tells John the truth, even when he doesn't want to hear it. She's not afraid of his anger or disappointment, and she gets that she can't change him.

The one thing John hates is a person who lies to him, which is why he can't stand Todd. Natalie now falls into Todd's catagory. I get why John is attracted to Kelly.

I do NOT get why he's abandoning his son, even if he doesn't share his DNA. Once a child is in a parent's heart, test results don't change that.

Love your column, and I'm kinda of confused about the GH column,so Luke was not really the hit and run driver, but if he wasn't how did Jake's DNA get on Luke's car if he didn't do it? If Luke didn't do it than who did?
Also ewww to John and Kelly they such I 'm sorry but they have no chemistry together. I want Natalie to get a new man and just as she's dating someone new John comes waltzing back and then I want Natalie to slam the door in John's face.
The Shane storyline is making sad also I hope it does not turn to a suicide storyline for Shane.

I DVR OLTL & GH, and they are the first shows I watch
when I get off of work. I stopped watching talk shows about 20 yrs ago, and I don't care for reality shows.

I watch soaps to escape from reality. I watch a few ABC shows at night. Some of the real good ones, they cancelled. I didn't like it, but I always knew I at least had my Soaps.

The end of AMC for me, was when they started "The Real Greenlee is coming back". Even with Angie & Jessie coming back,it was still the Ryan & Greenlee show. I finally stopped watching in Nov. of last yr.

GH feels more like it's the Carly show. I wish they could put her on the backburner for a while. There is still enough interesting storylines with others, so I keep watching.

I was never a huge fan of OLTL, I started watching it again during the Music Box Killer storyline. I got hooked,and it is my favorite soap since then.

Thanks for the heads up, time to make some phone calls and send some mail.

Hey Ravey! Just letting you know that as usual, things are being completely misconstrued out there. Susan Lucci just appeared on Fox & Friends, and accused a blogger of being responsible for the rumors of cancellation. I saw the show and it's on Fox & Friends web site. She clearly says the following:

So we hear that AMC may be cancelled (talking to Susan).

Susan Lucci: A blogger apparently said that our ratings were the lowest last week therefore that's what HE is saying. The week before it was another show, so I don't know why HE is picking on us, but HE is.

Raven, she is OBVIOUSLY not talking about you! I carefully wrote down every word she said. She is referring to a male blogger that started it all from the beginning and you never mentioned ratings ever! Some idiot at SOC is already blaming you! If they had posted the video, anyone with a connected brain cell would have realized in a heartbeat that she is talking about someone else entirely! Someone male and someone who spoke about AMC's ratings! You did not even mention ratings! You are female!

Please visit the Fox & Friends website for yourself. It's under March 30, 2011 videos! She goes on a bit more about this. You can see that she is referring to someone else.

I love Lucci, but I still don't buy it either way. I think she is being told what they want her to know. I just wanted to stop by with the truth, and not a bunch of who shot John!

I posted this on my Facebook page, and thought I would make a pit stop here as well.

As you know, Susan Lucci is my absolute favorite of all time. If you look at the picture I have posted of my mom who has since passed away, the resemblance is unmistakable (probably one of the reasons Susan has always been near and dear to my heart). She reminds me a great deal of my mom. I also admire and adore Susan (always have...always will).

A reader of mine just left me an interesting comment on my spoiler site. She said that Susan appeared on a show called Fox and Friends this morning and denied the rumors (expected) but that she blamed a blogger for the rumors. She said that it began with a blogger and was reported as fact in other places. Apparently, since I am everyone's easy target, they assumed she was referring to me. I am grateful to Melanie who sent me the actual link to the show itself from this morning. Susan clearly refers to a male, and mentions that he was talking about their ratings being in the toilet so to speak, and asked why he keeps picking on them.

I don't like to post links or receive links, but this one is clean and comes from Fox's site. Just wanted to clarify since some are assuming that she is talking about me. She is not. It's obvious once you have watched the segment (and I have never talked about their ratings in my columns when reporting on this). One of my readers also posted a few other links that may clear up some other misconceptions.

I completely understand Susan's position and what she is doing. The main thing I wanted to address is the assumption that she was referring to me. After reviewing the segment, I think it's pretty obvious she is not. I may be popular, but I am not that popular! I think it's safe to say that Deadline.Com does not need me! LOL! They have their own sources! I am flattered however! LOL!

Thank you for clearing that up Raven. Once I watched the show, it was pretty obvious. You almost hit the big time girl! If you had Susan Lucci talking about you on the air, that would have been too cool! I think these actors look at all of those sites as bloggers. If you look at them closely, they all look like blogs with comments and all (and they were guys talking about the ratings and stating that AMC was a goner)! I think it's very cool of you to always keep us posted. You are one of my favorites RB! :)

Kind of funny to see Susan denying low ratings since unlike cancellation rumors, those can be easily verified (i wonder if she's actually up to date on the show's ratings). AMC has been on the bottom for a while now (sometimes OLTL hits the low spot but AMC's usually been on the bottom in 2011). GH has been ABC's top soap for a while and OLTL even bested it during the first week of the last sweeps period. More importantly, AMC has been on the bottom of the key demos for an even longer stretch of time and has been pretty consistent in being the lowest one.

I am sooo glad to see you agree with how dark the Shane storyline is on OLTL. I have been forwarding past the bullying scenes because it is just too upsetting. I get they want to go after hot topics, but they have gone too far. I can't believe they are even thinking about writing off Charlie with Echo considering she lied to him. She's just as guilty as Clint. I loved Charlie and they ruined him!

I guess I am a bit of a coward in not giving you my name (old habits die-hard). For what it's worth, I wanted you to know that I am sorry. I was one of those terrorists who would find every reason in the book to avoid giving you credit for anything. I bashed you repeatedly. I was probably one of your worst nightmares. I have watched you over the past few months, and took note of how many casting scoops you got correct (I still bashed you). LB is only coming to write the final episodes. The show has only 6 months (that's being generous).

OLTL has been given the pink slip instead. In otherwords, they are both toast. The only difference is that OLTL is going sooner. You were right. Logan was right from TV Guide. The fans are going to get the shock of their lives in a few short months. You were just being honest. The only thing vicious is the spin ABC is giving their own fans right now. Denials coming up so brace yourself. Truth coming out in a few months.

I am holding out SOME hope about something Raven said a month ago regarding the canceleld show- about not letting the rearranging of deck chairs on the titanic fool us into thinking that this show would live.. I knew then that she was talking about a headwriter change for AMC...

This reminds me of what happened when GL's cancellation was first announced. Actors denied it, executives remained silent. Mags/rags believed it to be the case, fans went nuts. And then we waited. And waited. And then it happened.
WELL, history does repeat itself, especially when nothing is learned from past mistakes. When DK and DS first came onboard as writers I knew it was over -- why would anyone hire hacks who killed popular shows? What favors were being paid back? So now we have actors denying cancellation, mags/rags bracing everyone for the reality, and the executives silent. Hiring LB is, as you said, putting someone at the helm to gently guide the ship to its mooring. Raven had the gutts to speak the truth, and take gruesome hits for her courage. We know it's over, we thank her for her honesty and respect shown us, and now we just wait for the "date". September? Probably by then.

Stays UNDER budget
Did not not make the $$$$$$ mistake of going to CA and going HD
Has done better lately in the ratings

I know life is not fair I. I have watched BOTH shows all of my life and I'm 44. I have recently not bothered with AMC since the move it is not the show I grew up with it is unrecognizable. No offense but new Bianca doesn't work for me, as does NO Zach, You have took my beloved Angie and Jessie and just ruined them as you did Amanda and Jake. :( AMC I give up.Too many changes TOO FAST.
OLTL I won't give up, it has stayed true to it's original purpose ,great stories and is the best ABC soap there is. I might as well give up GH too. Maybe Days is the only soap left worth watching if OLTL is gone.
Some need to Open their eyes as to who is wasting money if that is the problem. If I could rewind time and stop AMC from moving to CA I would because I'm sure I'd still be watching if it were still in NY. Thank God OLTL didn't move.

I'm not a big Kelly/John fan but anything is better than John/Natalie. They are old and never have worked. Give it up. They've completely destroyed Natalie over this relationship. If they get John/Nat back together, I'm done with the show. I will not watch their bad chemistry and Natalie continuously stalk this man who for most of their relationship has treated her like crap. Natalie is unwatchable when she is with John. The fact that they had her stalking him again 5 seconds after her husband died is ridiculous. Then she sleeps with her sister's boyfriend, yuck, and then pathologically lies for month. I thought your significant other was supposed to add something to you not take it away.

I hope OLTL doesn't get canceled. The show was on fire through Feb sweeps, although it's become a little rocky this month. Jolie fans (myself included) got totally jipped. We waited three years for them to reunited and what do we get? A one-night stand, two non-weddings, a non-baby and now an lurid affair... wonderful! It really pays to be a long-time fan! Sure I believe Liam is really John's but now they have him with Kelly (they are so gross). So the happiness we waited years for is still another year off, I would expect! This is precisely what makes long-time viewers tune out... having their chains yanked! There has to be some kind of pay-off even if it only lasts a few months or even just a few weeks!

Please tell me Guza is going to get his pink slip? I am seriously tired of him using GH as his own therapist couch. He recently said he has lost 2 kids. This makes sense as he is continually writing stories where children who are hurt, victims of violence or killed. There is a reason why he called the King Herrod of soaps! And this on-going theme of "sins of the father" is only relevant to men not the majority of female viewers. Sure there are some women with daddy issues but the vast majority have moved on since starting families of their own. It is men who spend their whole lives in the shadows of their fathers and hang on to their daddy issues well into adulthood. I just think it's time for GH to get a change of perspective. It would be great to get a female head writer (like Claire Labine or Michele Val Jean) to give the show a female POV but a male writer who understands the medium and it's audience better (such as Sri Rao) would be a good option too.

Michael Logan is backing you up by stating that AMC and OLTL are indeed being canceled, and not to believe the bullshit. He's not budging and other actors are now coming out to give Frons a beating down everywhere! You stood alone for months on both of these, but stand alone no more. I am very sad about the news for OLTL and AMC, but at least we got a heads up from you! You rock!!!!!!!

Raven and others have been giving us the scoop for a while now that AMC/OLTL are in trouble and i hope everyone's been writing/calling ABC/Disney. I encourage everyone to send in their regular letters/email/calls, but it's also time for fans to unite and send a singular message to TPTB in large numbers.

Send a postcard to Anne Sweeney (her contact info is above in the column) saying "Save our Soaps. Cancel Frons". You can even decorate the picture side with drawings or art of "your show" to individulize it and have some fun! A mass number of the same kind of mailing from fans all over the place carries a powerful message (most successful show-savings campaigns have utilized one) and the message is short and simple and places attention on what (or rather who) the REAL problem with ABC Daytime is. (Obviously you don't want to send these to Frons! They need to go to his boss, Anne Sweeney).

Please spread this message to all ABC Daytime fans and forums you know. Obviously, it's best to send a postcard in addition to a regular letter in your own words, but if you're not a "letter-writer", a postcard is simple, easy and cheap to send and shows unity among AMC/OLTL's fans that can't be silent in these decisions.

Please do not cancel AMC or OLTL. The promise I have is if you do, I will not watch any other show you put in it's spot. I blame the powers that be, they fired people we loved, and turned the alot of people off. So when you look at the reason why the AMC & OLTL are not doing so well, they should look at themself.
