Raven, as usual, your colums are very intersting and informative. I understood what your were saying very clearly. It's too bad you have to further clarify. This saga has been very frustrating and sad to see our favorite shows being cancelled. If there is away to save them, great, but, I won't get my hopes up again. If nothing else, hopefully the terrible way ABC/Disney has handled this will come to their forefront.

On a personal note, I pray for you everday. I don't know you personally, but have enjoyed your columns for years. I normally don't post, but felt compelled to offer you my good wishes and prayers. You sound like a true survivor and I truly believe that is a big plus in tough times.

Hey Gang,

I'm sorry that I haven't been around much lately, but I haven't been feeling all that hot over the past few days. Going tomorrow to have a Seroma drained near the incision site (it's gotten huge). If it were smaller, I would have allowed it to try and resolve on it's own, but no such luck. I will keep you posted as I always have on how things are going. Having you on this journey with me has made things more bearable for me. You guys have been so incredibly loving and supportive. I hope you know what each post has meant to me. It's very difficult to return e-mails as there are far too many at this point, but I read each one. I take in what you have to say, and I am grateful for them. I guess hitting snags along the way is all part of the healing process. Thank you for all the beautiful posts, prayers, and all the healing light that you have been sending my way. I couldn't have asked for nicer fans, readers, friends, or angels in my life. You guys have been all that and so much more. Thank you. ♥♥♥

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving despite the incredibly sad news we were given. This latest news has definitely affected the way I watch the show. It's haunting and sad now instead of just being enjoyable and fun. The actors were led down the same garden path as the fans. They lost months and months of valuable time that could have been spent looking for other jobs . They thought they were simply moving over to Prospect Park, and not even leaving the same studio they were shooting in. The actors that signed with Prospect Park are left with nothing but an emergency situation to deal with as they had no reason to pursue other avenues (heartless and disgusting comes to mind). Breaking the fans hearts a second time was unnecessary and cruel. This whole situation was handled carelessly and poorly. It’s all very convenient. We are not giving up the fight. Not by a longshot……

Bringing over a few drops I left out earlier today from Facebook.....

Hey Guys, A quick and soapy drive by. I am being told that Spinelli has a major story coming, and then he will be written out. Personally speaking, I adore Spinelli because he is so quirky, loveable, and unusual. Bradford Anderson is pure genus. They have taken away all his skills for a reason. He is being edged out for a reason (this will NOT be announced right away). To add insult to injury, a coin was JUST flipped, and someone even larger than Jonathan Jackson is due to exit. If they go through with this, General Hospital will be completely unrecognizable. Obviously this is too hot to spell out or I would (I won't burn my source for anyone). Just brace yourselves. Obviously somebody at the top no longer cares what happens to this show. One loveable leading actress may get the last laugh when she decides to walk away on her own, leaving General Hospital in the dust. She would be wise to take that offer.......

Just a footnote on the above drop, Tony Geary is the vet I was talking about prior (JJ and one major vet due to leave). One part of that equation has already been announced. THIS is a completely different scoop. Very risky and out of left field. You will never get the whole story on this one. I don't see an announcement coming until at least February/March, although timing is very hard to nail down these days. They could do it sooner for all I know. Three red herrings for the killer. This is someone who everyone thinks they know thoroughly. His mind splits into two, and one forgets what the other has done. I'll keep you posted.....

Much love going out to all of you who have taken the time to leave me such lovely notes and well wishes. They have meant the world to me. I love you guys! XOXO!

Ugh! I do not believe all of this is random. I believe the powers at the top are doing everything they can, to ruin the soaps & make even the loyal fans want to see them come to an end. They think if they butcher our shows badly enough we won't miss them when they are gone & will soon be tuning into their reality garbage shows. Not only am I through with ABC & Disney, but I am through with any & all reality shows, game shows, & talk shows & cooking shows.
I am furious at what they are doing to Bradford, & furious about how they are hacking up our shows & our beloved characters & they are loving every minute of it.
ABC & Disney have made an enemy for life!

bringing the updates. I love Spinelli too, but not how they have been writing him lately. Take care my friend.

Raven, thanks for sharing all your tidbits and I hope you make a full recovery from your illness.

I may be in the minority here, but at this point the show could be better off without Luke, Sonny, Carly, and even Jason and Sam. The writing over the past several years has warped these characters into unrecognizable forms. The retconning of Luke and Laura's story is not only insulting to the fans who saw the original and their 93 return, but it also makes their origins even more disturbing and icky than they have been all along. Sonny and Jason have dominated the show for too long and with hardly any gold left in those blackened hearts of stone. Sonny used to have a heart back in the 90's, but he's just a despicable character now and Jason isn't much better. Laura Wright is great, but Carly's antics have become old and stale. If TPTB would let her grow and grow up, that might make her interesting again, but right now she could leave, take Michael with her, and the show might not suffer much at all, I think. That's not to suggest that writing out these characters would automatically make the show better as TPTB would have to write good stories for the remaining cast first to improve the show, but it might be a step in the right direction. Sonny, Jason, Luke, and Carly all still have their fans, but there are plenty others who aren't as supportive of these characters too.

How many months in production does the show have left anyway, 6, 8? What could it hurt unless Disney is willing to go all out and bring back the likes of Laura, Anna, Robert, Bobbie, Sean, Tiffany, Lesley, more Q's, Lucy, Scotty, Serena, Mike Webber, Frisco, Felicia, maybe resurrecting Georgie and Emlly, Tony Jones, etc.
