I don't know it this will be of any benefit to you but my Mom heard about this woman Kris Carr who was diagnosed with incurable cancer and she wrote a book called Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips. You can read about it on amazon.I hope things are going well for you. Here's the description.
Actress and photographer Kris Carr thought she had a hangover, but a Jivamukti yoga class didn’t provide its usual kick-ass cure. A visit to her doctor confirmed her “liver looked like Swiss cheese,” covered with cancerous tumors. She entered trench warfare (wearing cowboy boots into the MRI machine, no less), vowing, “Cancer needed a makeover and I was just the gal to do it!” She began writing and filming her journey, documenting her interactions with friends, doctors, alternative “quacks,” blind dates, and other women with cancer—sadly a growing group. These include hip, young women such as illustrator-author Marisa Acocella Marchetto (Cancer Vixen), Glamour writer-editor Erin Zammett (My So-Called Normal Life), MTV personality Diem Brown (Real World/Road Rules Challenge), model Sharon Blynn (founder, Bald Is Beautiful), and music manager Jackie Farry, among others.

Hey Gang,
I just wanted to thank you for all the really beautiful Valentine wishes. You always know how to brighten my day. I know I haven't been around much over the past 4 days or so, but I've been a bit preoccupied here lately. I have an appointment with the plastic surgeon on Monday because there is a suspicious area growing underneath where the incision has been healing. As sickening as it is to say aloud, it resembles the Epitheloid Angiosarcoma they first found. Strange looking lines in bright red as before.
At first, it was just a dot so I ignored it. Now it's a very pronounced red line, and in the same area. Praying it is something else entirely. Don't know what to think at the moment. If it only took 4 months to grow back, I'm in trouble. I noticed it some days back, but now it's more very pronounced and raised. Really trying not to completely freak out here until I get some answers. I am expecting him to remove it on Monday and send it in. I haven't fully healed yet from the Mastectomy so I am a little angry and losing my sense of humor here. I just want off this ride. I promised to always keep you in the loop. Forgive me if I am not out here as much as I usually am (I'm not purposely ignoring your many lovely posts). My mind is just all over the place at the moment (soap scoops seem almost silly right now). I will keep you posted when I know something (hoping they can get me in sooner than Monday, but that's all they had). In any event, I hope everyone has a great week. I love you guys (genuinely). ♥
Please note the soap updates that I have been leaving out steadily since my last column almost two weeks ago (last update was on 2/7/12). There have been many, but I place them under the current thread.
I will keep you guys posted...

Please contact MDAnderson Cancer Center in Houston TX. According to their web site they treat 100 or more cases of your type of breast cancer every year. My son was diagnosed with rectal cancer at the age of 31, extremely rare.He was treated at MDACC, after 5 years he is cancer free. DO NOT WAIT. THEY SAVE LIVES!

Considering what you're up against&in the grand scheme of things they are 'silly' Raven. Your main focus has to be your health. I believe I'm safe in thinking I speak for all of us out here who love you, we care more about your continued good health than soap scoops right now.

Hi Raven,
Maybe its just irritated under the incision because when its healing it usually becomes itchy and that is why it is red and swollen either from rubbing or scratching. Then they may just give you an antibiotic. Wish you the best and will be thinking of you on Monday.

Raven, I'm sending you prayers, hugs and healing thoughts. Take a deep breath and just take one moment at a time, one day at a time. I hope they are able to get you into the doctor sooner than Monday and that this is something totally different and harmless. Life has thrown many things at you and you've fought them all. Stay strong and remember there are a lot of us out here who care about you and are praying with you. We're never more than a few keystrokes away. BIG HUGS and LOTS of PRAYERS.

As much as we readers love your insight and your information your recovery is much more important. if you need to take a break from your fans, then please do it. While I admit that I love hearing scoops and gossip concerning the soap operas, they absolutely are silly in the grand scheme of things. You are so incredibly brave in the way you are battling for your health. Not only are you fighting the disease, you are doing so in a very public manner. There are few women that could (or would) do so, and for that- I applaud you.
That said, I am sending prayers for strength and health as well as good thoughts to you today, and especially on Monday. I certainly hope your fears are unfounded. God bless you, Raven, as you continue on this road. We are all walking beside you.

The fact that you would take ANY time from your day to update us amazes me and is a blessing. We don't want for anything besides your healing...scoops be damned. I know everything is high alert because of the seeming death of an entire genre, but REAL life (as opposed to "reel" life) ALWAYZ takes priority and you, my dear are about as real as they come. Don't ever apologize for living yours (away from the pulse). Great News! I hear my Lord is STILL a healer, so while you work on your sense of humor, He'll be working on everything else. ;-)
You take care and thanx for letting us know that now is not the time to become complacent in our prayers for your healing.
