All I can say is that you have made me hang on to soaps longer than I probably should have. I will miss your posts so very much. I can't believe people are so malicious and I hope that you have nothing but success. I know that I will keep checking back here for a while, if only to lessen the pain. : (

I am greatly saddened by the news you are no longer doing a column but I understand why you have decided to make a clean break. Soaps and the message boards supporting them have changed as the ratings plummeted. Instead of being entertained, fans are now angry and frustrated. I think this shows in the kind of treatment you have received over the last few years that, IMHO, bordered on fanaticism. The way they nit picked your columns apart looking for anything to use against you made me ill. I will always be grateful for the time and effort you put into your columns and the happiness you brought to an industry on the rocks. May you find retirement rewarding. You will be missed.
