I was so sorry to see your post, but I could tell from some of our board conversations that this very sad day was coming. I can't say that I blame you...I was afraid it would come to this. Raven, you have always been a class act. Your spoilers are what brought me to SOC, and have a lot to do with what kept me there. I've been waiting for Dan to give some explanation for your leaving, but none has been forthcoming. Your passion for the genre, and your graciousness, has been unsurpassed in the soap gossip industry. I can't express how much that I will miss you. I want you to know that you are greatly loved, and that you have so many people that love you and want the best for you. You've always been reliable, and such a strong advocate for the soaps themselves, that the stars will be a little dimmer after you've left. Godspeed my friend - I wish you only the best in your life - because you truly deserve it.

I just wanted you to know you have touched me in other ways besides just your soap scooping. I posted mostly on OLTL board over the years and back when Nathaniel Marston was going through his personal stuff there was a thread about him. The Venom coming from people was beyond horrible. You posted in that thread to try to reach the ones who were judging him so terrible without all the facts present. I could see the wind being taking out of your sails by the cruelty being thrown at a REAL person, not some fake character. I saw your heart that day. In the midst of the heartless you stood out as one of a dying breed. I saw it again with the American Idol stuff with Adam Lambert. You have always been a defender of the Good and misunderstood and get hurt for it. I'm sorry that you went through that stuff. For that I will miss you more then you soapy suds. Whenever there comes a time when I can carry the torch for some wrongs, I will do it with you in mind. Thank you for your Bravery Raven. It was not unnoticed.
