From what I understand the shows are wanted but ABCDSelfish won't sell. Just what I heard ...there were offers but they won't sell..

JMO They know if The Spew were opposite OLTL they would look even more foolish (if that were possible) because OLTL would kick their selfish Spew hineys in the ratings.

People don't seem to realize how tight TV budgets are these days, but the broadcast networks are still the ones with the deepest pockets. Cable still gets by on a shoestring, so none of them can afford invest in expensive soaps that only bring in under half-a-million 18-49-year-olds. The only people who believe AMC and OLTL can be saved by some other outlet just don't have an understanding of how limited TV revenues are these days.

I know people quibble about the validity of the ratings system, but until advertisers ask for a different system, that's the one we have.

I wasn't referring to cable..sigh ...I am not a business person (surprise) but a soap fan. It wasn't a message board btw.... doesn't matter ...done with this,doesn't help me or the soaps.
