Subject: Friesian breed doomed

Alex.
I agree with you 100%. On my quest to find my gelding, I went through many friesians until I found he and his mom. Bless her heart, she was on her 10th baby. She was beautiful and baroque! Her son, my gelding is considered baroque, and I would not have them ANY other way. I waited for many years and lots of research before being able to afford one. Now I look around and they are starting to look like tall black horses with a little feather. I hate it. In fact I told my husband if any thing happens to my gelding, my next horse will be a Gypsy or Drum horse!!!!
It truly saddens me about the Friesian breed. Thank goodness I got my boy before it all took the turn it has, he is still a sweet and kind natured horse, everyone loves him and he is a wonderful example of the breed as it should be.....Not to mention BIG and HAIRY!!!!!
Thanks for bringing this all up!
