I should have listen to my gut feeling and I knew he wasn't ready for it. Your horse has to be able to balance himself first, then you.
My old German trainer (deceased now) always told me that americans are to impatient about training. It takes time and patience to train. Do not let anyone ever tell you that you are going to slow. Remember the turtle won the race. You have all the time in the world. He has to acept the bit, has to have the rythmn and BALANCE. Hope this helps, don't make the same mistake. Me
