So what does this mean for my B-Book II filly? I was planing, when she is old enough and proven in the show ring she is worth breeding, that I would breed her to an approved stallion. I was of the understanding that by breeding to an approved stallion, and then breeding that produced mare would allow entry of that horse into the foal/stud book. So now what? Is my filly now considered worthless for breeding? Is she now not worthy of being called a pure bred Friesian? Reguardless of the outcome, I love her no matter what. But it does erk me to no end that FHANA is the only one closing the B-Book II. Does that perhaps mean that I would have to go through the Holland registry (and an interpreter) to finally get the foal/stud book for the future foals?
