I have a Bob Marshall Sports saddle & I love it! This is the only treeless I have ridden in so I can't speak for all of them - but in this case I feel just as secure in this saddle as I do with any other. The only difference is I can feel the horses back muscles underneath me, and I can't in a traditional treed saddle.
If you do get a treeless, get a high quality pad (such as a Skito) that is designed for treeless saddles.
