Subject: Which bit do you have your Friesian in?

5.25 Eggbutt French link snaffle. Egg but should deal with the lip being pinched or bleeding.

My S-judge and grand-prix trainer (20x over) only uses this on young horses.

I have also had a former driving (hard-mouthed horse)....1 year later (in a Herm Sprenger KK Ultra B-ing snaffle) she is doing flying changes and it ultra-light in the mouth. It took us a good year of tug-o-war, but she understands now. Do not believe the Friesian myth of them all being INSENSITIVE. My mare was...but is not now and obviously was not, by nature. Beautiful changes by the way....we are also able to get the same changes on my other mare who just goes in the first bit mentioned a 5.25 Eggbutt French link snaffle. Best of luck!
