In my experience with scratches regular anti-bacterial dishsoap has worked the best (and the cheapest) for me. Once you get rid of the problem it doesn't seem to show itself again. Scratches is fungul so if you keep the area clean you shouldn't have the problem again. My mare was imported and when she arived she had a bad case of it.
