Alex, where did you compile that list of known ailments from? I am curious to know, because I agree that not enough information about the unique health issues within the breed are being officially circulated through the Friesian community. There is plenty of discussion and news, but rarely any official data, and the number of people I know personally whose Friesians have died tragically young, often from colic or heart complications, is disturbingly large. I have been wanting to add more information to the website on these issues, but have rarely run across any reputable data that I can offer up to people. If you have any additional data I'd be interested in adding it to the Health & Care section of the website.
