Well I have to say that I have never seen nor heard about anything like that used on Friesians before. It seems pretty strange to me, however, people should not begin thinking that all Friesians have been trained this way. Don't boycott the FHANA Anniversary because of it certainly. I don't buy the idea that many Friesian stallions or horses being prepared for the keur are trained in this manner, and would like to see alot more hard evidence that this is a common training method than the account of a single website.
I have known many Friesians who have scored superbly at their inspections, and can say for a fact that they were never trained in anything resembling that style.
