I'm really upset right now, I've been spending so much time crying over what to do about this. I'm in a spot of trouble after I lost my job. I REALLY do not want to sell my boy, but in the event I have to...

He's an 8yo gelding, gorgeous built, traditional "ladies sized" 15.2. When I bought him I was told he rode English and Dressage, trails and drove. He's actually rather green and spooky, and needs someone with confidence. So I guess he would be a good project for someone who wants to show; I'm a pleasure rider mostly. My question is, how's the market for a horse like him?

I had a lovely girl trial leasing him, but the people at my barn are "driving" her off. The barn owner wants me to let this girl "who is like a daughter to her" use him for free. That's why they are childishly trying to get rid of her, I feel. I'm really furious at them; they know how much I need this! I've spent all my time after losing my job trying to find a good home for him that's less expensive (board in my area is $425-$750) and someone to lease him, rather than looking for a job! I just don't know what to do, and I'm so depressed!

Again, I'm not committed to selling him (I'm really fighting it!), but I pay for all my and his expenses by myself, and I'm getting anxious!
