I suppose it could have been any horse, but it was my Friesian.
We got her when she was only 7 months old and have owned her for 7 months.
I had to board her for the 1st 4 months we owned her. That was hard.
And she's only been home here with me now for 3 months. She's getting bigger.
I’ve only gotten to go near her and touch her while she’s laying down a couple of times.
And only since I brought her home. Never at the other barn. She’ll roll in the yard or lay there and bake sometimes but not if any people are near her. She’s very timid. I was running late tonight and didn’t get out to tuck her in till almost 10pm. If she’s sleeping I won’t bother her but I heard her big feet and put the lights on. She gets an apple or carrot and some hay. I seen I had some mucking up to do too and the bedding was thin. I went in the stall with her, and dumped a big bag of shavings out, and as usual she started pawing at it. I was ready with the rake to start pushing it out but she’s in the way, going in a circles and kicking at it spreading it out herself. Then she’s started making weird shapes with her legs and body. Next thing I know, she going down in the pile, rolling all over in the pile, back and forth, covering herself in shavings, making a mess of herself, while I was in her stall! (she has a big stall) It was so funny. All this, is a trip. She is so cool! 'Ritske'
