Isn't Sam gorgeous!? :) I live in Utah and just saw him at the Utah Horse Expo when Annette got him to do a perfect extended trot that took my breath away, although it only lasted about 5-6 strides. :) I bought my little filly from Annette out of her mare Wodi. I don't have the papers with me, so I'm not sure what Wodi's breeding is (I am 100% new to the Friesian world, so I don't think I'd recognize the names even if I did remember). I shall check on her breeding when I get home tonight and let you know. I've never met the mare, because they sold her before I saw my filly, but I understand she's a lovely mover herself. She's a lot bigger than Sam. I am guessing my baby will grow up to be around 16 hands, but who knows? Sam's around 15.2 and I've heard Wodi's around 16.2, so I thought I'd pick a number in the middle. :)
