Hi Marilee - I disagree with the other replies to your question. "No Premium" means the foal was either not presented at a keuring, or not awarded a premium.

We will be seeing more "niet geprimeerd". Starting in 2007, foals will not be microchipped at the keuring, the owner must have their own vet do it. One must weigh the costs and shipping risks.

Many breeders are opting to not ship their foals to the keuring, as they absorb the additional vet bills. They are placing more value preparing for the 3 year old studbook premium (ster & stallion).
