Subject: Re;- Training a 3 year old

How many times a week should you train a 3 year old, as i have 3 year old gelding who has been broken in for about 3 months, and he is currently being trained by the instructor at my local livery yard 3 times a week for half an hour each time, but i am getting a bit worried as he seems very very exhausted and tired afterwards, i visit him everyday but i can always tell when it has been his training day as he dosent even want to come out of his stable and when he ouside being tied up and groomed he is really quiet, i am worried that the instructor is maybe pushing him too hard and it might be too much for him,i explained to her that friesians do get more tired than other horses as they are not a warm blood and do not get a second wind like others do but she says he is no more tired than any other 3 year old, could anyone else let me know what they think.
