Hi Cindy,

My husband and I followed a drivning clinic 2 weeks ago with a very famous driver from our Contry (Canada) and one of his point was that it is never too early to start a horse for driving and that the younger they are, the easier it is for them and for you... of course like you said it is out of consideration to do real work with them like pulling things... juste get the horse accustom to the harness and start learning to wait patiently while you fit things around him... In fact he told us to start with our youngest horse instead of the eldest like we were thinking at first...

So we have not started our own yearling filly but it is a mather of weeks according to my husband promises... Give us news of your observation as well as your yearling progress...
