Subject: Joep and hooves

Hello Everyone,
Its been busy and so have not been on the forum lately. Wanted to let everyone know that Joep will be arriving in The US this wed!!! I can get him on Friday and I cant be more excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a question about Friesian hooves. I was told that they have a tendancy to get chipped up hooves because of the climate change and that I should keep shoes off of him for a couple months! Has any one experianced this before? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks a lot!!
If you can check on him for me before he leaves I would really appreciate that if you can. Let me know and thanks!
