So how was he bareback? Did you trot? I've always wanted to ride a Friesian bareback, precisely because they have such smooth, broad, comforable looking backs. I love to ride my Morgan bareback, she has a great, comfy slow trot and I find I can communicate much more effectively through my seat. However.. seeing as many Friesians tend to have -humungous- trots that pretty much throw you out of the saddle and force you to post, I've never done it.
