I didnt get to trot yet only because he is still young and he did try goofing off when I rode him under saddle. His trot with the saddle though felt really cool. Very lofty but seems easy enough for bareback. When I asked for a canter he took off bucking 3 times in a row and then leveled back out. I didnt want a repeat of that going bareback. I will get to know him a little better first but when I do trot/canter bareback, I will let you know how it was.
