>I have come so close to joining NEFHC, I live in northern VT and own a 2 y/o gelding. But given the distance I didn't think I could participate in many of the events, but I do look at your website often!
I recognize Andries in the pictures that you posted (at least I am pretty sure it is him!). I was at the 2005 Keuring and he was one of my favorites. The little guy (I should talk, I am only 5' myself) has such a look of love and pride for this horse, it is incredible. I found myself watching them often at the Keuring just because I thought it was so wonderful to see a guy to appear to have the same strong bond with his horse that I have always had. At least it appeared that way! Although I did notice that most of the people at the Keuring seemed so loving and down to earth with their horses. Not like some "events" I have been to where the horses are pretty just "ridden" by the owners and handled by grooms, etc. and traded off for a better version when the occasion arises, sorta like a car. But then again, my horses are part of my family!

Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics. I wish there were more Friesian owners/lovers up my way. Being "friesian crazy" in northern VT is a little lonely! I have a hard time finding someone to chat with or get information from about my guy . . .
