I thought this was an interesting viewpoint on summer hooves and not just applicable to the southern states. It discusses the effect of night turnouts on shoed hooves, something I guess many Friesian owners should at least be aware of. The author also offers his opinion on the best solutions for dry hooves and the best brands of dressings.
