HI Andrea,

yes I am from Holland. ;-)I once had a farrier who put on a wrap for the feathers, but after him I had other farriers (changed stables etc.) and they never put on wraps....but I must say they never burned the feathers! If the feathers of your horse are very large and are in the way I wouldn't take the risk and put them on myself so you will be sure the feathers will be o.k... ;-)
