Subject: Keuring question

I just received the paperwork with registrations in our local keuring. There are 5 geldings being presented and my question is about their ages. My gelding is 3 years old, and the others are 5,7,8 and 9 years old. This is my first experience with Friesians and a keuring, so I was expecting a bunch of 3 and 4 yr olds. Is this range in age common, and do you think my baby (he is rather awkward and undeveloped, as we just started lunge training, and he keeps losing a shoe causing us to halt the work) will be able to be appreciated next to the more developed and mature boys? Thanks for your response, anyone! Muriel
