Subject: Owning a friesian/friesian experience?

Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this website, it's fabulous!
Anyway, I'm 19 and from New York (any neighbors?) and have always wanted to ask you friesian owners, what on earth does it take to own a friesian? I have been absolutely obsessed with the breed for years, even having the good fortune to meet some on my birthday and riding a stallion due to an owner's generosity! However, they seem like a quite expensive investment, and I feel like it's never too early to start planning! Should I plan on marrying a rich man or can good financial planning do the trick? I've been riding for almost 10 years, if that's of any importance.

Also, I know it's probably only a dream, but I'd be willing to give my left foot for a chance to have more interaction with these horses. If anyone knows of anything, please don't hesitate to let me know! :)
