I too had dreamed of owning a Friesian, as I live near a breeder and have watched them and then worked with them for years. But the $$ was an issue. Fortunately, my husband is a welder and we were able to swap some work and some $$ for a young colt. The breeder had a crop of "boys" as he called them and really is only interested in the fillies so he was very reasonable to deal with. So my guy is now 2 1/2 years old and settling in nicely.
