My friend owns four Anton offspring (mares), who I've worked with since they were two year olds (they're now 6).
The thing we've noticed about Anton offspring is that they aren't really of a certain type. All four of her mares are -very- different and you wouldn't neccisarily guess they were by the same stallion. But what we've found is that the quality of the mares, and other Anton offspring I've met, is consistantly high.

All of them are beautiful and all have great personalities. She has two first premie star mares, one second premie star, and a third premie.

Personally, simply from working with a wide range of Anton offspring, I would consider him one of my favorite stallions. And that is not taking into consideration the stallion himself at all... just what his kids are like. I think Anton somehow brings out the best in the mare's lines. He may not throw copies of himself, but he compliments the traits in the mare with positive traits from his own line.
