Top 15:
Winchester - Alexandra Ibarra. Gorgeous face. Her hair was
a tad messy in a good way but she washed it (cardinal sin) as she had some fly aways. She needs some seasoning and should definitely come back. Pleasanton - Sonia Talati. Pretty girl; middle eastern?, great carriage and posture on stage; needs minor nose bump fix. Delmar - Kristina Johnson. Should've made top 5. She doesn't know how gorgeous she is. She was working that light blue gown.
Tarzana - Brandi Milloy. I was loving her all night
until gown, then her chest distracted me the rest of the
way. She looks like "Kaitlyn" the winner of "Models of
the Runway". Beverly Hills - Nana Meriwether. A supermodel in waiting. If the girl gets rhinoplasty she could win ANY pageant, but on the other hand, part of her unique beauty IS that nose. Best in catwalk hands down (then Nicole Johnson) but her hair was very flat and long with different lengthed pieces hiding part of her face. I kept thinking she looked like one of Pete's paperdolls. She has a presence about her that is captivating. Greater L.A. - Lacey Bollinger. She's cute. She's got no chest and no butt and was lackluster on stage. Reuhle, Salaues, Pechter or Yusuf should've had this spot. Hollywood - Brittany McGowan. Sexy girl. Cross between Tatum Keshwar and Allanas Morrissette. Became visibly less comfortable ie: nervous in evening gown. Malibu - Bianca Castillo Peters. Exotic looking girl. I liked her at first but she did this distracting upward motion with her left shoulder when she walked. It did not work for me. Greater San Diego - Jessica Morgan. Adorable, yet sophisticated. Great walk; awesome edgy haircut. Deserved top 5 (and got it.)
Citrus Valley - Nia Sanchez. Very impressive all around
performances. Gave the best answer in top 5. Should
definitely return. Thousand Oaks - Bonnie Carmalt. Beautiful face but like Bobbi Bishop she looks about 5-6 years older than everyone. Had an amazing physique but I was put off by her EG presentation. Her tits were practically on the stage AND she was bouncing. It looked a little cheap/trampy. San Mateo County - Lisa Chan. She was ok, but she was my only glaring WTF. Nicole Chiu, Nicki Rishi or Dr. Mumta Singhvi should've had this spot.
Sherwood - Nicole Johnson. My favorite since forever.
She's stunning. Her EG in prelims was WOW. Her body
is slammin', her carriage and demeanor are lovely and
IMO they crowned the girl with the prettiest face, and out of 130 girls that's quite the feat! Thought her answer might have kept the title from her, (very generic) but thank goodness the judges looked at overall body of work!
Bay Area - Sarah Chapman. Charisma, great body, very confident. I can see how she made top 15 but I'd have put one of the girls I mentioned under Bollinger in this spot. Up close she is not that pretty. She has a very large forehead. San Francisco. Louise Wu. She EARNED her spot,
regardless of Ellen DeGeneres. Adorable, hot in swimsuit, my eyes almost popped out when I saw her chest in EG. Top 10 was a good placement for her. I think Kristen Dalton summed it up best when she said that this could've been a top 15 at Miss USA. If I was only going to get one "road to" correct this weekend I am over the moon it was Nicole!

- Mback, I was convinced Milloy was the same girl from Models of the Runway. I even had to google it, but it just confused me more because they look EXACTLY alike. It's almost eerie!! - I attended both nights and Hollywood, San Mateo and Pleasontom were the biggest WTF to ever make a top 15. Totally undeserved. Citrus although facially pretty was totally out of shape compared to others. Greater la and Malibu also did not stand out to me. Girls like Krystal Sewelll, Michelle Spaleta and Rachel Rose DESERVED a top spot and were the most robbed contestants. All 3 were in phenomenal shape and I loved their presentations during prelims especially Michelle's. I agree with the winner but these 3 were robbed and CA missed the boat a lot last night. -- ., 12:42:05 11/23/09 Mon
- San Mateo was the only real wtf for me. Hollywood was sexy but too nervous and Pleasanton, although she had a big hook in her nose was very poised on stage. I also think Lacie Bollinger was cute but probably could've been replaced. The other 11 all deserved their spots. I would have replaced these four with Greta Pechter, Grace Reuhle-Lewis, Michele Spaleta, Mumta Singhvi, Nicole Chiu, Karina Riojas or the girl from Agoura Hills (sorry can't think of her name.) The cute light-skinned black girl from Alameda who was front and center for the little swimsuit dance I would love to work with and coach. She has great potential. I'd also love to see Alexandra Ibarra, Nia Sanchez and Kristina Johnson (who should've been top 5) all return. (NT) -- M Back, 14:36:00 11/23/09 Mon
- Thank goodness for opinions. Don't agree with yours in most spots. Nana is unique, but a little too built up verbally and her body. From the back she looked to me like a she-man.
