1.) In YOUR opinion, do you honestly feel Ingrid's omission from Top 15 was justified?
Meaning, if you didn't know a lick about the girl, her story, her past, and were to judge Ingrid Rivera based solely on her prelim performance, do you still believe she should have been left out of that Top 15 on Sunday night?

2.) Knowing what you know now as to where the judges stood in their scoring and who they gravitated toward, IF Ingrid did place amongst the Top 15, where do you all think she would have ultimately placed on finals?

Subject: Hi Everyone! I am looking for prople's opinions on the last two standing for MU 2001. Did Denise rightfully win, or was Evelina robbed. My family and I love to watch pageants, but we don't pick everything apart. We always want USA or Greece to well(my parents are from Greece). I liked Evelina--I liked almost everything about her---her walk, height, eyes, elegance outfits, etc. , but her mouth bothered me(something about her teeth or gums, I don't know). I thought Denise was just fine also, but I read on other sites like You tube, etc. that Greece was robbed just as much as Denise deserved to win. What do you guys think?

The only time USA win Miss Universe is when the President of the United States is a Democratic.

President Lyndon B. Johnson, (Democratic, 1963-1969)
Miss Universe 1967, Sylvia Hitchcock

President Jimmy Carter (Democratic, 1977-1981)
Miss Universe 1980, Shawn Weatherly

President Bill Clinton (Democratic, 1993-2001)
Miss Universe 1995, Chelsi Smith
Miss Universe 1997, Brook Lee

If Barack Obama becames the President of the United States of America, Miss Universe 2009 will be USA. Miss Universe 2008 is from Venezuela

Our new Miss Universe: Dayana Mendoza

Interesting question: Who do you think did not deserve to be in the Top 15?

Our outgoing queen: Riyo Mori

They ask her about her Tuxedo! It's a pretty simple answer! I love her!

Subject: "Here are the 15 semifinalists, in random order." Yeah, right.

I do not believe for one second that the way the semifinalists are announced in any of the Miss Universe pageants is truly random. Is it any coincidence that, at the past six Miss Universe pageants, including this year's, the first person named into the elite round ends up at worst in the final five, if not the winner? In studying the order from the past six Miss Universe pageants, a contestant has a greater chance of making the final round if she was to be announced in the first third or the last third. Only Jennifer Hawkins in 2004 was ever able to win the pageant coming from the 2nd third of the elite competition. I seriously believe that the order is not determined at random, but is instead carefully plotted out by the MUO. So, to say that it's in random order would be a bald-faced lie. And it's not just in the past six years. In 1999, 2000, and 2001, the delegate from Spain was the first person to be named. On several occasions, Venezuela was the last person to be named. In my experience, I've never seen a Miss Universe pageant where, if Miss USA is named to the semifinals, she is among the first to be called. More often than not, she's among the last to be called.

I would like to see the following happen: for each successive round of cuts, a bowl with the names of the surviving contestants is produced. The presenters then draw the names out at random ON STAGE, and have to pull out the very first name card that they touch. The names should also be verified and presented in a way that ensures not only complete randomness, but that ALL surviving contestants get a fair chance in the upcoming round. No saving the big scores for the last contestants. It shouldn't matter if someone is called first or last.

If there were a girl who was stunningly beautiful, had great speaking skills, and a perfectly proportioned body, would you think she was worthy of a major title? In other words, is height necessary for beauty in your opinion? I am just wondering because all these Universe girls seem SO tall, but you don't need to be tall to be proportioned. Isn't Eva Longoria something like 5'2" or 5'3"? Does it take an extra x-factor for a shorter girl to win?
