It's really not my fault. Blame it on the several million people who live in L.A. and who insist on using the cell phones at the exact same time as I do in the exact same area ... which causes black holes to form. The problem is that these black holes travel. They're not in the same spot every day, so there's no way of being able to give Jen any kind of warning of "I'll be right back, black hole again." No. Instead, I just blink out. No warning. No noise. Just silence. Then I call Jen back and she's still on the line because she, not surprisingly, thinks I'm still on the original call with her. Then I wait for her to call me back and I get the "YOU DID IT AGAIN!!" which, *I* didn't. It's my phone. I swear. Really. Now, if I could market some kind of "pest drop" for cell phones, I would NOT be aiming it at Jen. I can think of several others that would be caught in that trap first. I'm sorry, Jen. I didn't mean it.
