I do have a small book of shadows. I don't work in it nearly as often as I should. It's just a three ring binder, nothing fancy.

Well I have various lovely hard-back notebooks, with all sorts of notes, words etc. in and a lovely slate BoS with ivy trailing around it which is a special one from Ben (my son - one of them, lol)which has special poems, invocations, protections, healings, and spells. I am also awaiting what I am sure will be another special one being made for me by a certain Paganwolf ;-). That will also be kept for particular items.

You may have realised by now I have a thing about all sorts of books - not just ones you read :-)

I have a reasonably small (A5ish) but thick purple covered ring binder with recipes, useful info, extracts from various sources, poetry, quotations, addresses etc., etc.

I guess this is my book of shadows but Ive never really thought about it that way. Probably because I dont class myself of wiccan I guess!

Blessings

Lil

I know what you are saying but you don't have to be Wiccan to have a BoS :-) I am not Wiccan.

Lil, I have to agree with Dragonlady and all. Wot I class as my book of shadows is blue and I would class myself as pagan. Thing is, its the principal of what a book of shadows stands for and you put in it what u want. I put in the same as you all, but, I also have a habbit of drawing my tattoo pics in it.
Put in a nut shell, its probably my bestest book.
