Subject: Somehow "thanks" seems inadequate, but . . .

Thank you, David James Elliott, for ten years of portraying Harm in JAG. You brought to life a wonderful and complex character who will not be forgotten anytime soon (nor will those fantastic facial expressions—some of them are just priceless memories). Thank you also for the preparation and training you do for and your participation in marathons and triathlons: you are setting a wonderful example of how important and rewarding it is for men and women in all age groups to keep physically fit and to continually challenge ourselves mentally and physically. I wish you every success in your future endeavors and will look forward to the day when we see your name in the credits as an actor, director, producer, or writer for an ABC show. My best wishes to you and your family, and my thanks to them for sharing you with us all these years. Good luck and Godspeed.
