Subject: My days on the Akbar

At 14 years old on arrival at the Akbar I had already been birched at my local police station. This was my punishment although it served me in great stead for the rest of my life, I thank god my father told the Judge of my interest in boats & airoplanes.My first couple of weeks was spent having treatment in the hospital at the rear.Most of my happy times thier were spent training in the dentist's surgery due to being under age, most of the lads were over 16 years old.I made a particular friend of Desmond Rodney Howard amongst others.Any one who wants can contact me
