Sexual predator and pageant industry pariah John Singh and Miss Tourism World Organisation have apparently done a runner from Kyrgyzstan mirroring his sensations escape from Zimbabwe in 2005
According to sources he had been pushing his Worthless Miss Tourism World pageant to be hosted in Kyrgyzstan but at a cost of US$3,milion, to the Kyrgyzstan tourism Ministry, claiming it would revive and boost tourism, The authorities in the Ministry of Tourism Kyrgyzstan it seems were not totally convinced by his claims and did some background searching on him and found out there was more than met the eye with John Singh, so rather than give him a blank cheque like Robert Mugabe did in 2005, he was asked to do all the major fund raising himself.

Not surprisingly John Singh and his entourage fled the country and his event was not held there in May / June 2008. He is now rumoured to be concentrating on certain East African countries to find some gullible Government officials to deceive into parting with millions of dollars for his worthless pageant.
He is also revived the infamous Miss Millionaire pageant that claims to award US$1, million to the winner.
At last count his event was held in Turkey last November but the local organisations said they paid only US$20,000 to host it, desperate times it seems calls for desperate measures

I am writing with regards to the recently concluded Miss Jamaica Universe Pageant. I like so many other Jamaicans are disappointed (to say the least), with the results and are therefore left to ask the question “WHAT WERE THEY THINKING”? I have been a pageant fan for quiet some time (since 1989 to be exact and I’m only 24 years old) and I’ve never seen anything like this in my 16 years of being a fan. There are so many questions that need to be answered: 1.) How do you explain having a panel of seven judges and at least four of the seven judges are friends with Raquel Wright, it just does not make sense. 2.) Why pay US $100, 00.00 (approximately 6.2 Million Jamaican Dollars) for franchise fees and settle for this mediocrity, why waist precious time and money? 3.) Why have public votes if it has absolutely nothing to do with the outcome? 4.) Why does Pulse keep lying to the public about the placements of their delegates at Miss Universe?
What the people need to recognize that this is first and foremost a BEAUTY pageant not an intellectual or personality contest, and that’s the same reason why Mr. Trump was disappointed with last years Miss Universe Pageant because the STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL girls were left out of the semifinals and he has therefore gone one step further in ensuring that the same mistake is not repeated this year by having HIS beauty experts choose this years semifinalist. Can you seriously say that based on looks Ms. Wright stands a chance of being a semifinalist let alone the winner? I THINK NOT. With just a few weeks to go before the arrivals in Bangkok (May 8th), how much time does she have to prepare, she doesn’t have the best body to begin with so how will she fear. I’ve seen the competition and with beauties like South Africa, Canada, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Spain to name a few Raquel does not stand a chance.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the Ms. Wright is UGLY, but can you honestly say that she stands a chance in Bangkok.
Pulse needs to take the necessary steps in ensuring that Jamaica does well internationally, and in order to achieve this they have to start taking a different approach. Start having the pageant at least five months before the international pageant, this will ensure that the representative will have all the necessary training that will garner success. The winner needs a lot of time to do fittings, she needs to know what colour looks good on her, what hair style fits. The winner needs to be publicized, have photo shoots done. Pulse doesn’t even have a Miss Jamaica Universe Web site. They need to choose the right judges, judges who know what the Miss Universe Organization is looking for. Clearly these people don’t, hence this travesty. If Pulse does not start taking this thing seriously Jamaica will NEVER have a Miss Universe.
Pulse I think you should get people who have the passion for the pageant and a desire to be successful.
As for Miss Wright good luck at the Miss Universe Pageant, you’ll need it. Enjoy your vacation.

In a last ditch bid to stave off the inevitable, our trusted sources revelled that pageant officials of the Miss Tourism World Organisation have resorted to sending down right begging emails to some new National Directors desperately pleading with them to send them delegates for the MODEL OF THE WORLD 2006 due to be held next week, which is a direct rip-off of the more respected Miss Model Of The World® contest now in its 18th year. Just like all his other contests which seem to have origins else where in the pageant industry and end up with a few words like “World” or “Miss” added or removed to suit his dubious purposes.
The emails make very funny reading for an organisation that loves to sell its licences that are “Sure to sell out Quickly” but never do! And shows the depths to which this organisation will sink to deceive people.
And it follow our earlier observation that Miss Tourism world organisation and John Singh has now systematically targeted Africa as his latest stomping ground after being booted out of every civilised country in the Western hemisphere.
No doubt some egotistical Third world buffoons in government there who have never seen so many pretty “White” women in one place, will wiling open up the government coffers and treat his bevy of strippers and escorts who are masquerading as National beauty contestants and model to a 5 star holiday complete with all the sex and girls you can get,
It follow a pattern set by John Singh where he “Gives” titles to the country next on his list of targets to host his Future pageants, our sources indicate that his scouts are already in Kenya scoping out top government officials and proudly pushing Issabel Karuthiru, representing Kenya who it was claimed won the dubious title of Miss Internet WWW 2005 from 112 contestants, as a reason for them to host one of his circus acts in Kenya

Well Ms. Morley has finally done it! If you want to vote for Ms. Jamaica you will have to have a credit card to pay one dollar for your vote.
Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic are the only countries who have SMS voting (no credit card required) so it is a given that they are going to be the top 2 from the Caribbean region. Let's face facts, they are going to use their second vote on a Contestant that fits into their ideal of beauty which is basically which contestant looks caucasian enough (and that includes black women with their straightened hair and heavy make-up [just look at Martinique this year]). I feel a bit sad for Ms. Jamaica, Ms. St Lucia and Ms. Trinidad and Tobago. All beautiful, natural women who don't mind showing off their curly hair.

Well, whoever said the pageant is over is right. Nothing can be done about it, but something CAN be done about next year. If the purpose is to WIN, a girl like Raquel cannot go. I am 100% sure that Raquel is charming, sweet, intelligent and confident. Everyone who knows her as only good things to say. But as someone pointed out, Amelia Vega was well-known to be evil and won the entire thing. Miss Universe is not about niceness, or intelligence either, as a matter of fact. (How intelligent were those five finalists REALLY?) MJU needs to step it up!! But people need to understand fault doesn't lie with Raquel herself, it lies with the way the pageant was run. img=src

I really hope that all you people making those horrible comments look drop dead gorgeous and prettier than money! I do not understand how you people have the audacity to call someone ugly when you all probably don't even look better than that person! Raquel is a wonderful person, if you all knew her then you would say the same thing. I am sure than the other girl, Carolyn Yapp wouldn't have placed in the top 15 anyways. Not only is it about beauty but about personality...a characteristic which Yapp did not have. Obviously the girl is not MJU material,she didn't win last time nor this time. I hate to say it, but Raquel looked out of her element last night at MU. I know that this story has been around for some time, but I hope that her friends on the MJU judging panel feel ashamed of themselves for placing her in such a position of embarrassment. Raquel is not and will never be a beauty queen, and no matter how much they wanted to rub Yapp for her comments on Toyloy, they were wrong. Hopefully Pulse will learn from this very big mistake and take the judging into their hands as was the case last year. Jamaica must put aside the bias petty crap and start thinking international and not local. I just pray to GOD that Raquel put aside the pageants and not enter the MJW. I doubt if there is any room for physical improvement for her, and next time she should look at herself and not allow others to use her as a pawn.
