Subject: Six Hour up-date

All 26 teams control cards covering the six hours have now been checked. Every lap that all 102 drivers completed has also been cross checked against the IN and OUT control times as proof. No laps have been deducted for less than decipherable lap recording.

We are most grateful to Sue and Kevin Rose who throughout the six hours isolated themselves in the administration office to correlate all the control card information. The five red flag periods following incidents changed what would have been a straight forward lap count, less any penalties, into something far more complex.

The red flag stoppages and compensatory laps affected each team in a different way. This is now being analysed. At the moment, the provisional result remains provisional.
