In reply to your first point. Nothing has changed. The following is an except from the regulations.

"8. Entries:
Two car teams only. The entry is restricted to 30 (maximum) teams representing a cross section of specialist sportscar manufacturers and builders. Where applicable a team may enter two cars from different builders, i.e. Specials."

The objective is to have as many sportscar manufactures represented as possible. That said, it was anticipated that some sportscar owners may have difficulty finding a car of the same make to team up with.

At the moment there are two car teams from: Lotus, Caterham, Westfield, Marlin, Findhorn NG, Liege, and just come in, Ariel and Buckland. Gardner Douglas have also confirmed a two car team. On the specials front, Dennis Morris and Dick Brenton have teamed up.

There are another seven single cars entered, holding their place while they look for a second car. And while two car teams of the same make take there places, there may well be some at the end who may need to team up with a different make.

With regard to your second point. Are you inferring that this event, a six hour test at Mallory park, is not being organised responsibly. I can only presume that you are referring to the UKMSA as being big brother. Thankfully they are there to oversee motor sport events. And I should add that all those involved with the running of this event are members of the UKMSA affiliated Evesham Motor Club. The Six Hour 2008 is not a race. It is a six hour test. At no time will the organisers have any interest in lap times. The only objective is to complete the six hours in a controlled environment.
