My thanks to Evert for this *clarification* on the article in the paper yesterday (which WGEN posted). I think (and hope) tht most who read the news story were able to see thru the BIAS in the way it was presented. MSM is doing all it can to make it appear that the REAL grassroots movement is falling apart - not true - not true at all - as Evert's post clearly shows.
Following Evert's post I am pasting in some of the Diener Connections that you folks need to pay attention to. You need to know which DOTS CONNECT TO EACH OTHER!!!

Subject: [Fwd: Pro-sovereignty groups]

My posting on the Daily Herald article about Minutemen groups:

This article is another example of why newspaper circulations are decreasing. Is this article an attempt to make it appear that supporters of U.S. sovereignty are weakening in their resolve? How about printing an article about the American Legion and their three million members who have come out in support of the same goals as the pro-sovereignty groups?

Nah! This article would sooner like to lead you to believe that no one supports our sovereignty any more . The comment: “Local Minuteman protests have created a few unexpected alliances,” attributed to Carlos Acosta is correct. Carlos is part of the pro-illegal movement which advocates amnesty for people who have broken one of our most sacred laws by entering or residing in our country illegally. It does not matter how Carlos tries to sugar-coat or justify it, an illegal alien is a law-breaker. There have been alliances developed by the pro-illegal groups:

http://www.movimiento10demarzo.org/ Check out some of these groups and you may be surprised as to what they stand for.

The mainstream media has successfully portrayed the Minutemen movement as something it is not. The same media is paying the price in lower circulation and TV viewing. More and more people rely on the internet for the truth. While it is time-consuming to filter out the untruths on the internet, at least the facts are still being posted there.

The mainstream media (msm) only uses their chosen few to interview when it comes to issues about our sovereignty. The msm has a proclivity for choosing those few who do not represent the rank and file of the pro-sovereignty movement. People like Chris Simcox and Jim Gilchrist represent organizations who use or used a consulting group with the name of Didier consulting. I do not know why they chose this group (which has connections to Alan Keyes) but this group has less than a stellar reputation for efficient fund raising. As a result, most of their membership has moved to groups like the FIRE Coalition http://www.firecoalition.com/ Locally we have Minutemen Midwest, Chicago Minutemen Project, Americans for Legal Immigration, Fox Valley Citizens, Illinois Citizen Security Network, Fox Valley Minuteman and Citizens Protecting Your Rights who work diligently to preserve the sovereignty for which many have paid the ultimate price.

The msm will continue to portray people like Simcox, Gilchrist, Pulido, DeLacroce, and Gheen as representing the pro-sovereignty movement as long as it serves the purposes of the msm which does not appear to me to be supporting the sovereignty of the United States. The msm will continue their attempt to discredit the hard work of the real patriots by interviewing these people. The real patriots will keep on working to elect honest candidates who represent us - not the interests of foreign government or the United Nations. Candidates supported by members of the National Council of the Race or so-called peace groups or any group who advocates the turning of heads to our laws of sovereignty need to be exposed. If you want an example of such people just look at the governor of Illinois, most current Chicago elected officials and the two Illinois federal senators, one of whom is actually attempting to become our President.

Could infighting end Minuteman movement?
Anti-illegal immigration group struggling as chapters disband, donations slow

One of the most visible groups in the anti-illegal immigration movement could be defunct in seven months, its leader says.

"We've lost the battle," said Minuteman project founder Jim Gilchrist. "My intuition tells me … this entire movement will fizzle to nothing by the end of the year."

Gilchrist, a former California accountant, founded the project in October 2004. In two years, the grass-roots border-control group had grown to boast more than 200 chapters across the country.

Today, Gilchrist says, a host of internal problems are bringing the movement to its knees.
