I was shopping at the Winchester Gallery recently - my first visit to this establishment in Ft. Worth - and I can tell you it beats the pants off most all other related type stores. I could go back and spend a couple days browsing (can't afford to buy all I like). I was fortunate enough to have been served by Glen Furtardo and I can tell you that this man is top notch in addition to having a SUPER sense of HEW MORE. So much so that I asked him if he was Polish. He replied he was Portuguese and we decided that was close enough since they both start with a PEE. If you are in the Ft. Worth area and in need of items of protection then I suggest you make the Winchester Gallery at least one of your stops. You won't be unhappy - and bring your sense of humor as it will be enjoyed.

FORT WORTH ? Most days are like Christmas for Glen Furtardo.
When he opens boxes sent to the Winchester Gallery gun store in east Fort Worth, he finds out what ammunition he’ll have to stock his shelves with that day as demand for weapons and ammo soars. Reports of heavy sales at gun stores began around the time of Barack Obama’s election as president, and months later, dealers are facing ammo shortages nationwide.
"People are panicking and buying," said Furtardo, assistant manager. "The crime rate is high, and they are flat scared of what is going to happen in the next few years with the economy and the country. Manufacturers weren’t prepared for this."
