I don't have the time now to read your e-mail in its entirety, but something in the first graph caught my attention. Alien is a U.S. immigration term for people who immigrate from foreign countries. The Department of Homeland Security refers to legal immigrants as legal aliens.
We don't use legal aliens, the same way we don't use the term illegal aliens.
Beyond that, I'm neither judging nor defending this woman. Her story is what it is. Thanks for reading us.

My Response Back to Ms Turnbull:
Actually, Ms Turnbull, I used the dictionary definition of immigrant. The term illegal immigrant is an oxymoron, illegal alien is not. And alien is someone who does not belong. About sums it up, wouldn’t you say? The use of illegal immigrant, no matter who came up with it and who is using it, is incorrect use of the English language.
As for your contention that you are neither judging nor defending this woman, that’s hogwash. If you didn’t want to portray her as a victim of the “nasty, mean, ornery, bigoted Americans” who want the illegal aliens out of their country, you would have written your article about all the money Ana Reyes and her spawn has cost the legal American taxpayers. Don’t tell me you aren’t defending her. Your defense of her criminal activity in this country is simply devious, underhanded, surreptitious, intended to appeal to the emotions of people instead of their intellect: the reality of what people like her have done to America.
