's message, "SP{TX}: Gov. Perry taking 'hard look' at local-option rail legislation" on 08:36:33 02/20/09 Fri
I knew the TransTexasCorridor......or.......the NAFTA Super Highway would be back. It not only had roads but it had provision for railways for shipping to the "PORT" in Kansas City.
Well if you read the below proposal, and VERY careful language, then you will recognized that TTC plan that is now being sold to non-critical thinking voters with the new name of....
Texas Local Option Transportation Act
Perry did not mention the land grab that this plan will require because that is what upset the voters. So he just did not mention it.
Folks, nobody can do what he is talking about---without--taking large amounts of land.
Remember the wording of the announcement when Perry announced that the TTC was dead. They added "in its present form". THINK about it.
WHY?
Perry invested his reputation on the TTC. His son was one of the principles on that. A contract had already been signed with a company from Spain named Centra. They have probably come up with a new "subsidiary" now, based in USA that has some wonderful new name.
Plus the H B Zachory construction company in San Antonio
(don't know if that spelling on Zachory is right)
has family ties to [guess who???----come on and guess] Kay Baily Hutchison. Of course she now wants to be TX Governor so she can control it even better.
Think hard whenever you see any branch of our state or federal government planning anything. The one thing they are good at is salting away pork money for their own corrupt use.
