NID: Surveillance cams help fight crime, city says
Since Mayor Daly has proclaimed that cameras on every corner will reduce crime I want to encourage him to place cameras in all the political offices in Illinois, especially in the Chicago area in order to reduce the criminal activity that takes place in them.
Then let us take this idea nation wide, especially to WDC and install cameras in all political offices - even those they consider to be private - so that American's can finally have an OPEN and TRANSPARENT government. No more little meetings with lobbyists or staffers re-writing legislation - no more cold cash changing hands to be stored in freezers - or Soddie dating services.
I think the idea of cameras all over the place should begin in the offices of the political segment of America. Then if it really works we can discuss extending it to the minor criminal activity that happens on the public streets. Let's make sure it works before taking it to the streets of America.
I think all political persons should also be fitted with a GPS device so we can track their movements just as some are wanting to place GPS devices in our vehicles so they can squeeze out MORE revenue and keep track of where WE are at all times.
