You claim to be a person of Christian Faith, Mr Kennard; is that not correct? If that is correct, your pastor should hear the concerns of those who believe you have fallen from grace.
The use of the term illegal immigration is an oxymoron. One cannot be an illegal legal. An immigrant is someone who enters this country legally with the intent of becoming a citizen. Ana Reyes did not enter this country with the intent of becoming a citizen. She is a foreigner, an alien, an illegal alien. Further, she is a criminal illegal alien.
There is no where in the U.S. Constitution where people born in this country of illegal aliens are given automatic citizenship.
If Ana Reyes was any kind of mother at all, she would not have entered this country illegally; she would have done so legally. That she had children while here was obviously so she could claim their American citizenship which does not speak well of her either. I will bet you have no clue the amount of money Reyes has cost the American taxpayers.
You do remember the commandment that states that one shall not covet that which is not his? She is a criminal. She is an illegal alien criminal. Her desires, her feelings, have nothing to do with the fact that she has violated U.S. law and God’s law. If Ana Reyes did not like the way things were in her country, then her responsibility lay in getting that changed; not in entering another country illegally.
The church may extend a loving hand to help those who make mistakes, but God only forgives if the sinner is repentant. Ana Reyes is not repentant, just as she isn’t repentant of the amount of money she has cost the American taxpayers; she figures she is deserving of every penny she can filch.
Again, call her what she is. She is a criminal illegal alien. As for her taking a job no one else wanted, I have no doubt her boss said that. It’s a convenient excuse for hiring illegal aliens; they are cheap labor. In hiring her, her boss broke laws.
And she is still a criminal illegal alien who coveted that which is not hers, came here in violation of United States law, and lived here as a criminal for 17 years.
The Final Judgment will be visited upon those who violate God’s commandments. And remember Matthew 10:28; also Matthew 7:21-23.

Any alien who -
1. enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
2. eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
3. attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under Title 18 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under Title 18, or imprisoned not more than two years or both.
(b) Improper time or place, civil penalties - Any alien who is apprehended while entering (or attempting to enter) the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty of -
(1) at least $50 and not more than $250 for each such entry (or attempted entry); or
(2) twice the amount specified in paragraph (1) in the case of an alien who has been previously subject to a civil penalty under this subsection. Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be imposed.
(c) Marriage fraud - Any individual who knowingly enters into a marriage for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or fined not more than $250,000 or both.
(d) Immigration-related entrepreneurship fraud - Any individual who knowingly establishes a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, fined in accordance with title 18, or both.
Section 1324a states: "Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by 10 years jail + $2000 fine per illegal alien + forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime".
Section 1324c states, "All officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws shall have authority to make arrests for a violation of any provision of this section" (affirmed US v Perez-Gonzalez 2002 Fed App 0360, 6th Circ.).
Section 1644, same title states, "No local ordinance, rule, or measure shall stop law enforcement officers from enforcement of this section" (affirmed Southern District Court of NY, US v Rudy Guiliani,1996).
